Lil Critters July 2015 (Gallery)

Project Tween: Sketch a Bird of Prey (July 2015) Gallery

Whoo-whoo? Project Tweens is who!  They practiced their drawing skills using a live Barred Owl model brought to us by the McHenry County Conservation District in the Sketch a Bird of Prey class.

Read to a Dog July 2015 (Gallery)

Read to a Dog is a monthly program for families at the Huntley Area Public Library.  The volunteer animals are licensed therapy dogs and are accompanied by their owners for the program.  Families sign up for a fifteen minute time slot.  Readers can bring a book from home or choose one from the library. Stuffed Animal Sleepover Pajamarama July 2015 (Gallery)

We were really looking forward to the Stuffed Animal Sleepover!  Children dropped off their stuffed animals on Monday for a sleepover, then came to Pajamarama on Tuesday.  We read stories about sleepovers, including “Sleepover with Beatrice and Bear”, and sang and danced with our animals.
