Junior Volunteer applications for Summer 2018 are now available! Download here! Every summer, the Huntley Area Public Library depends on its crew of Junior Volunteers to help run the children’s summer reading program. JVs typically volunteer at the summer reading desk for a couple of hours every week while summer reading is going on. They help out by registering kids for the reading program, distributing prizes, and assisting library staff…

Junior Volunteer Party – August 2009

On August 19, 2009, the Huntley Area Public Library threw a celebration bash for its Junior Volunteers, young people in grades 7 – 12, who helped out with the Children’s reading program and other activities over the summer. Many of these teens volunteered their time every week! Thank you, Junior Volunteers! We couldn’t have done it without you!
