Animal Crackers Book Club August 2017

Our summer reading theme was superheroes, so this session of Animal Crackers Book Club focused on Teddy Roosevelt: Champion of parks and conservation.  Clubbers, ages 7-10, received a copy of “Who Was Theodore Roosevelt?” and read some of the book together. Enjoy photos of this month’s Read to a Dog! Read to a Dog is a monthly program for families at the Huntley Area Public Library.  The volunteer animals are licensed therapy dogs and are accompanied by their owners for the program.  Families sign up for a fifteen minute time slot.  Readers can bring a book from home or choose one from the library.
