Collaborating with community partners is a large part of what makes Huntley an exceptional place to live. When the library was getting ready to reopen, staff wanted to make an impact and work with our partners to make sure the community knew about all the changes the library made during the construction and renovation project, and to celebrate the occasion. One of those partners was Sew Hop’d Brewery and Taproom.
We’d like to thank Lieutenant Kelly and her Fireman friends for the amazing Family Story Time in the Park today. We had such a fun time. We got to listen to Lt Kelly’s favorite stories, dance around with Miss Charise, and Lt Kelly’s Fireman friends brought over the firetruck for us to enjoy.
Thank you to everyone who came to our 2022 Summer Reading Kick-off Days! Especially everyone that braved the rain on Day 1. Day 2 was a much more beautiful day. Everyone got to enjoy the sun and bedazzle the sidewalk with chalk doodles. A big thank you to Kona Ice for helping us kick off our Summer Reading with a frosty treat.
