This story is definitely one of the most treasured of the Sherlock Holmes canon. And a must-read for fans.

I enjoyed the book immensely because it shows psychologically how a defenseless planet stopped a deadly invasion.
Shadow of the Hegemon Shadow series #2 by Orson Scott Card Science Fiction Review #1 * * * * * Stars (Amazing!) Shadow of the Hegemon explains what happens after Ender defeats the Formics and war breaks out on Earth. Peter, having written Locke and Demosthenes, is accepted as Hegemon, which is more of a ceremonial title that has no power.

Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card Science Fiction Review #1 * * * * Stars (Great!) Ender’s Game was interesting because of the way it viewed the psychological aspects of children when subjected to war versus an alien race. The only reason I didn’t give the book five stars is because the end of the story got drab and boring very quickly. Overall, Ender’s Game was a good book, possibly worthy of 4 1/2 stars.
