Hold Pickup Service Update – No Appointment Needed for Lobby Pickup

We’ve made some changes to the library’s Hold Pickup Service – Beginning Monday, July 6, 2020, no appointment is needed for lobby pickup

Please read the following information carefully, as we have made changes to the Hold Pickup service available at the Huntley Area Public Library.

Residents who place items on hold may begin picking them up inside the library without an appointment beginning July 6.  Please remember to wait to visit us until you receive a notice that the items are available.  Notifications are sent by email or phone call when your items are ready for you.  A face covering is required to enter the library building. 

If you wish to have items delivered to your vehicle, please schedule an appointment once you are notified that your items are available for pickup. You can schedule your pickup appointment beginning at noon Friday, July 3 online at www.huntleylibrary.org/schedule or by calling 847-669-5386 and pressing 7 to speak with a staff member. Park in the designated spaces in front of the library (across from the blue book drop) and call the main number at 847-669-5386, press 1 when you arrive.  A staff member will deliver your hold materials to you.   

The library has extended their hours, as follows: 

Mon-Thurs   9 a.m. – 8 p.m. 

Fri-Sat           9 a.m. – 5 p.m. 

Sun                Closed  

To place items on hold for pickup, visit our website and select items from our catalog at www.huntleylibrary.org/catalog by using your library card number.  You may also call the Information Desk for assistance at 847-669-5386, press 3 to speak with a librarian.
