Max and her flock are at the end of the world. Max loves Fang and Dylan but she doesn’t trust Dylan even if he’s perfect for her. I really liked it because even if Max is a mutant with wings, she is a teen and you can have the same thoughts. She makes choices that most wouldn’t agree with, but these are quick choices.

This book is a really, really great ending to the series. Fang makes an important decision to go back to the flock. Angel is back at The School and is having a real-life nightmare. Max goes through some tough times and has to make some important decisions. The ending is a little confusing, but it’s still really good. James Patterson is a true genius.
