* * * * Stars (Great!)
Daphne and her two best friends have spent all of their summers together at camp since they were six. Now that they are adults, this has not stopped them from having fun and getting close. Except for some hiccups in the past… “Summer of Songbirds” is about coming closer together while learning to deal with individuality and growth. They come together and work out problems and make core memories. Things that all best friends should do.

I loved how it had romance in it because a good love story always makes a book better. I think that something that could’ve made this book better was a slower ending. I feel like it ended very quickly, all of a sudden they had solved the problem. There was a slow lead in which I liked but then it ended so quick. Overall very good book. Published for adults; older teens may also enjoy this.
