I like Land of Stories because it gives the characters hope and brings them closer. When they work together they realize that they need each other so that’s how they became close and that’s how I became close to my sister – from learning that you better appreciate the stuff you have before it’s gone.

This book is about two twins named Alex and Conner. Their dad just died and they are having a hard time. One day their amazing grandma goes to their house and gives them the book their dad used to read to them. Alex starts to act strange and Conner has to find out what’s wrong. Then something magical happens. Read to find out.
This book was a great read because the adventures that they take make me feel excited and scared for what they are about to face. When they have to find things, they are also in danger. It is a perfect book to read before you go to bed because it makes you think of all the things that could happen in your dreams, and it makes you want to read more every time. For upper elementary and middle school readers.
