Zentangle Springkle Bookmarks (June 2020) Gallery
Annie Reiser, certified Zentangle instructor, guided participants through the creation of a bookmark using several different tangles (primarily the Springkle tangle) in a live virtual class she presented for the Huntley Area Public Library in June 2020. Jim Gill’s Sing-A-Long of Celebrated Songs February 2020 Gallery
Over 400 people welcomed Jim Gill for his Sing-A-Long of Celebrated Songs Concert! Families filled Chesak Elementary’s gymnasium to hear Gill who has been entertaining children of all ages since the early 90’s. Adults and teens hand-lettered and framed meaningful quotes in this fun and artsy workshop led by Amanda Palczynski. They used collage techniques, watercolor pens, and a variety of other materials in their creations.

Read to a Dog February 2020 Gallery
Enjoy photos of this month’s Read to a Dog. This was Cooper’s (and his owner Gary’s) first time volunteering for this program. He listened to all the books, even one about a cat! Read to a Dog is a monthly program for families at the Huntley Area Public Library. The volunteer animals are licensed therapy dogs and are accompanied by their owners for the program.
