Beyond Exile is a horror novel written in a series of letters from the un-named protagonist. Actually, some of the chapters are diary entries. The book is very interesting as there is almost no character building. You never learn the main character’s name or learn his backstory. The book is full of action and is written in a very simple, yet realistic style. I wish it had more of a plot, but I was very entertained.
