The book is about Sean and his father working on the transcontinental railroad. Sean’s father was already working on the railroad when he started. Sean had to work his way up the ranks, till the railroad was complete. Why did I like this book? I liked this book because it made me think how it would have been when the railroad was being built. This was a well-written book.
