Call to Order: A Directors Search Committee meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Huntley Area Public Library District was held in Program Room 3at the Huntley Area Public Library District, 11000 Ruth Road, Huntley, IL 60142 on April 6, 2026. Chair Threadgill-Smith called the meeting to order at 5:00p.m.
Attendance:
Committee Members Present: Leslie Threadgill-Smith (chair), Linda Benigno, Stephanie Weil, and Sandy Domagalski
Committee Members Absent: None
Trustees and Library Staff Present: Kate Kunde
Visitors Present: None
Pledge of Allegiance: President Threadgill Smith led the Pledge
Public Comments: Benigno remarked that she is happy with Michelle Mattes and her Friends Foundation Liaison role.
Review and Revise Director Job Description
Discussed Dieters and Todd timeline and meeting dates:
- Monday, April 20th at 5:00 p.m.
- Tuesday, April 21st at 5:00 p.m.
Dates tentatively set if needed
Adjourn: Domagalski motioned; Benigno seconded to adjourn Director Search Committee meeting All Ayes. No Nays. Motion carried.
Directors of Search Committee adjourned at 6:09 p.m.
