Huntley Area Public Library Receives Donation of Magnified Vision Device from Huntley Area Lions Club

The Huntley Area Public Library was once again honored to receive a donation from the Huntley Area Lions Club. The donation, a Optelec ClearView desktop video magnifier was presented to the library by Lion Jim Harper and Lion Jim Saletta. It was donated to the Lions Club by an anonymous Sun City resident.

Huntley, IL – The Huntley Area Public Library was honored to receive a donation from the Huntley Area Lions Club in the amount of $1000.00. The donation was presented to the library by Jim Saletta and Jim Graves of the Lions Club in honor of American disability rights advocate Helen Keller. Keller influenced Lions Club members to join her and continue her crusade as Knights of the Blind. Helping the visually impaired has been a cause for the group since 1925.
