Rosa Parks was an amazing woman who stood up for what she believed in. One day when she was on a bus, the bus driver told her to move to give her seat to another man on the bus. Rosa Parks replied, “NO.” So the bus driver called the police. She was put in jail not for very long though. All her life she fought and fought to be just as important as the white people. And one day it was fulfilled. People no longer had to be seated in a certain area. They could all sit wherever they wanted. And blacks were treated just as the whites were. They were treated equal.
