This donation-based collection is intended to support and promote the creative expression of local authors in our community. Donation Guidelines Local authors are those who reside in the Village of Huntley and or the Huntley Area Public Library District. Items must have been published in the last three years and they must be in new or like-new condition. The Library will accept only one copy of any title. Enjoy photos of this month’s Read to a Dog! Read to a Dog is a monthly program for families at the Huntley Area Public Library.  The volunteer animals are licensed therapy dogs and are accompanied by their owners for the program.  Families sign up for a fifteen minute time slot.  Readers can bring a book from home or choose one from the library. This month’s Pajamarama was on March 14th, so we HAD to celebrate Pie Day!  We read stories about pie, like “Babyberry Pie” by Heather Fredrick and sang our way through “Salad Pie” by Wendy BooydeGraaff.  Then kids created their own pie craft and we had cherry pie as a snack.  Yum! Chicago Wolves Player Conner Bleackley Visits the Library March 2017 Gallery
