Roar! We read Eggasaurus by Jennifer Wagh about a child who received dinosaur eggs in the mail. Then we made our own dinosaur egg to take home, let dry, and break open later. Some kids sent us photos of their egg opening at home. What kind of dinosaur is your favorite?
The all-new Huntley Area Public Library opened its doors on Monday, February 7, 2022. Here are some photos of the new library, though we highly recommend stopping in to see it for yourself.
This has been an incredible week. Staff and crews have worked feverishly to bring nearly 2,900 sq. ft. of materials, equipment and offices back into the main library. When our doors reopen on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 you will immediately notice the difference in the library you knew and the library as it is today. We know it will be different, and we know it will feel cramped. It is only temporary as we begin the next stage of the building program.

The Huntley Area Public Library offers teens a variety of ways to share their writing with others. We periodically sponsor writing contests, and we accept ongoing submissions for our quarterly ‘zine – Teen Zine.
