February 19, 2020 marks the next chapter in the Huntley Area Public Library’s expansion project. The community celebrated the 25th Anniversary of the Huntley Area Public Library on Friday, November 7, 2014. Speakers Chuck Ruth, Rusty Ayers and Frank Novak provided brief remarks giving a look back, a view of today and a glimpse ahead. Local organizations were honored with Silver Recognition Awards and the library unveiled a new logo.
The Huntley Fire Protection District visited the library today to show kids some of their amazing rescue vehicles and teach them about fire safety. Kids even received a special edition GI Joe fire safety comic book for attending!
