IMPORTANT UPDATE: Huntley Area Public Library Closure to Extend up to Monday, February 7, 2022

Huntley, IL – The final stages of the Huntley Area Public Library’s two-year building program are taking place as 2021 ends. Parts of the collection are being relocated, new equipment is getting set up, staff are moving into their new spaces, and the countdown is on to explore your FRESH, new library.

September 11 Remembrance Project

September 11, 2021, is a day that changed the world and many of us. This online September 11 Remembrance Project is designed to share memories of that day, how it changed your life, creative works on the subject, and/or share how you commemorated or plan to commemorate the 20th anniversary of this event.

CLOSING NOTICE: The Huntley Area Public Library will be closed Monday, September 7th, 2026, in observance of the Labor Day holiday. The exterior book drop will close at 5:00 p.m. the evening prior, Sunday, September 6th. The library and exterior book drop will reopen on Tuesday, September 8th, at 9:00 a.m
